LG Chem Labor and Management, 'Relay Blood Donation' Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] LG Chem's labor and management jointly conduct a 'Relay Blood Donation Campaign' to overcome COVID-19.
On the 8th, LG Chem announced that it will carry out a relay blood donation campaign with employees at the Ochang plant. The blood donation campaign, which started at the Yeosu plant on March 19, is scheduled to proceed in a relay format at 12 domestic business sites including Ochang, Cheongju, Daesan, and Iksan until the end of April.
LG Chem's labor and management stated that this campaign was launched to help amid difficulties in securing blood supply due to a decrease in blood donors caused by the spread of COVID-19 infections.
An LG Chem official said, "Employees at all business sites will voluntarily participate in blood donation to unite their efforts in overcoming the crisis," adding, "We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities by finding places in need of help."
