Hana Bank Launches Corporate Card Issuance Service in Partnership with Vietnam's BIDV
First Collaboration Case with Vietnam BIDV, a Key New Southern Policy Partner
Promoting Diversification of Local Revenue Sources and Expanding Financial Business Foundations in Vietnam
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Hana Bank announced on the 8th that its branches in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, have started issuing corporate cards through a business partnership with BIDV, one of the four major state-owned commercial banks and the number one bank in Vietnam by asset size.
With this partnership, corporate customers transacting with Hana Bank's branches in Vietnam can apply to Hana Bank to receive corporate cards affiliated with BIDV. This eliminates the inconvenience of having to request and undergo screening at local banks to obtain credit cards.
Ham Jin-sik, head of the Hanoi branch, said, "The launch of this corporate card is a significant first collaboration with BIDV, which has an extensive network throughout Vietnam. Through ongoing collaborations in various fields, we aim to diversify local revenue sources and expand the financial business foundation, ultimately achieving continuous synergy."
