Jeongeup-si, Traffic Ban on 2.3km Section of Naejangcheon Riverside Road from the 13th
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Jeongeup City in Jeonbuk announced on the 8th that it will implement a vehicle traffic ban on a section of the Naejangcheon Riverside Road from the 13th of this month to August 13.
The city decided to ban traffic to prevent safety accidents caused by the construction, as part of the ‘Wolyeong Small Stream Maintenance Project,’ due to the elevation of the Wolyeong 1 Bridge, which is a bridge connection road construction.
The traffic ban section is approximately 2.3 km from Songhak Samgeori to near Wolyeong Village.
With this traffic ban in effect, right turns at Songhak Samgeori are blocked, allowing straight traffic to enter Naejangsan-ro, and straight traffic is blocked at Wolyeong 1 Bridge, allowing right turns to enter the City Museum.

A city official said, “We apologize for the inconvenience caused to nearby village residents, visitors to Naejangsan Water Park, and tourists visiting Naejangsan National Park,” adding, “We will strive to complete the construction early to provide better traffic convenience to those visiting the area.”
