Songpa-gu, Seoul announced on the 6th that a 66-year-old woman residing in Pungnap-dong was registered as the 37th confirmed case in the district. This woman was a contact of the 24th and 45th confirmed cases in Gangnam-gu, and she was tested at the Songpa-gu Public Health Center on the 4th and received a positive result on the 5th.
The 45th confirmed case in Gangnam-gu, who came into contact with this woman, is a patient who violated self-quarantine rules and left without permission, leading the district office to report him to the police.
The 45th patient in Gangnam-gu was classified as a contact of an existing confirmed case and received a self-quarantine notice on the 1st, but went to the office the next day before returning home. He was confirmed positive around 10 p.m. on the 2nd.
