A 20s American Student in Daejeon Tests Positive for COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyun-ui Cho] On the 5th, a woman in her 20s who arrived from overseas was confirmed positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Daejeon. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the region to 38. She is the 8th confirmed case among overseas arrivals.
According to Daejeon City on the same day, the additional confirmed case is a student who returned from the United States on the 30th of last month. The patient visited Yuseong-gu Public Health Center the day before and had a specimen collected.
