Gyeongbuk, 4 Additional COVID-19 Cases... Total 1,268 (Update)
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] Four additional confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Gyeongbuk have increased the total to 1,268.
According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 5th, as of midnight, two new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Gyeongju, and one each in Bonghwa and Andong within a day.
In Bonghwa, one nurse tested positive, and one caregiver at the county-run nursing hospital, which is under cohort isolation, also tested positive.
In Andong, a man in his 70s working in agriculture tested positive after being examined for pneumonia.
One of the cases in Gyeongju is the daughter of a confirmed patient who tested positive after being tested for release from self-quarantine, and the other case is currently under epidemiological investigation.
