[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Nowon-gu (District Mayor Oh Seung-rok) held a 'Donation Ceremony for Grade 5 and Above Executives to Overcome COVID-19' at 10 a.m. on the 3rd in the district mayor's office.
The ceremony was organized as Grade 5 and above executives of Nowon-gu Office raised 21.4 million KRW in donations to share the pain of residents amid the nationwide atmosphere of voluntary salary returns by public officials and public corporation employees due to the economic crisis caused by COVID-19.
On this day, Mayor Oh Seung-rok handed over the donations collected by the executives to Kim Geun, Chairman of the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation, and took commemorative photos. The donations will be delivered to vulnerable groups struggling due to COVID-19.
