Prosecutors Assign Criminal Division to 'Gaseyeon' Kim Se-ui Prostitution Allegation Report Case

[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] The prosecution has assigned the case of allegations of prostitution against Kim Se-ui, the head of the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute' (Gaseyeon), to the criminal division.
According to the legal community on the 3rd, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office recently assigned the case in which Kim and others were accused of violating the Act on the Punishment of Acts of Arranging Sexual Traffic, among other charges, to the Criminal Division 3 (Chief Prosecutor Yoon Jin-yong), a department specializing in violent crimes.
The prosecution plans to send the case to the Seoul Gangnam Police Station, which has jurisdiction, to direct the investigation.

Earlier, YouTuber Lee Jin-ho and Lawyer Bae Geun-jo from the law firm Modu's Law submitted a complaint to the prosecution on the 26th of last month, claiming that "Kim visited local entertainment establishments in Busan last year with employees and engaged in prostitution."
