Choi Kyung-ju, who holds a PGA Tour card, will be eligible to play on the senior tour starting in May. He had planned to debut on the senior tour at the season's first major, the PGA Championship, but was hindered by the spread of COVID-19. The senior tour held five tournaments this year, but seven tournaments, including the canceled PGA Championship, were disrupted. Instead of postponing, the PGA Championship chose cancellation and plans to hold the 2022 tournament again at Harbor Shores Resort.
