Chairman Park Chang-gu of Kumho Petrochemical, Last Year's Compensation 5.072 Billion KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Park Chan-gu, Chairman and CEO of Kumho Petrochemical, received a total compensation of 5.072 billion KRW last year.
Kumho Petrochemical disclosed in its business report on the 30th that Chairman Park was paid a salary of 2.435 billion KRW, a bonus of 2.602 billion KRW, and other income of 35 million KRW last year.
According to the executive compensation regulations, the bonus included 2.359 billion KRW paid in January last year, considering the achievement of management goals exceeding those of 2018 and leadership performance. As a special bonus, 243 million KRW was paid in July last year, equivalent to 120% of the executive monthly salary and 150% of the employee monthly salary.
Other labor income includes long-term service awards and medical expense support.

During the same period, former CEO Kim Sung-chae received a total of 3.478 billion KRW, consisting of a salary of 118 million KRW, a bonus of 325 million KRW, other labor income of 400,000 KRW, and retirement income of 3.035 billion KRW.
