Hi Investment & Securities, Good Landlord Campaign... Rent Exemption for Masan Office Building
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Hi Investment & Securities announced on the 30th that it will join the Good Landlord Movement to support small business owners and self-employed individuals struggling due to the spread of COVID-19.
Hi Investment & Securities decided to fully waive rent for four months until June for tenants occupying the Masan office building owned by the company in Namseong-dong, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam.
A representative of Hi Investment & Securities explained, "This is part of the company's social responsibility and ethical management practice to share the pain of tenants who are suffering from a sharp decline in sales due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation and to coexist with the local community."
Previously, Hi Investment & Securities raised 25.42 million KRW through voluntary participation of 85% of its employees as part of a 50 million KRW COVID-19 disaster relief fund donated by DGB Financial Group employees, excluding Daegu Bank.
