Public Home Shopping, 'All Day Daegu Gyeongbuk' Special Broadcast
Special 24-Hour Sales Broadcast for Cheer Up Daegu and Gyeongbuk on the 31st
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Public Home Shopping announced on the 31st that it will hold a special program called 'All Day Daegu-Gyeongbuk,' featuring products from the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions. To support the Daegu-Gyeongbuk area, which has been hit hardest by COVID-19, 10% of the sales amount will be donated.
The special program, broadcast live and replayed for 24 hours starting from 6 a.m. on the 31st, will introduce a total of 20 products produced by companies located in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region. This is the first time Public Home Shopping has dedicated an entire 24-hour broadcast to a special program.
The program focuses on local specialties such as 'Dalgubeol Makchang' and 'Nonghyup Apples,' as well as products from small and medium-sized enterprises based in Daegu and Gyeongbuk, including the 'Arabelle Topper Set' and 'Giraroche Bedding.'
Public Home Shopping plans to donate 10% of the sales amount from the 20 products sold during the 24-hour broadcast. The company previously held special broadcasts to support disaster-affected areas, such as aiding companies affected by the Pohang earthquake in 2017 and delivering daily necessities to victims of the Gangwon Province wildfires in 2019.
