Shincheonji Daegu Church "All Worship and Gatherings Strictly Prohibited" (Comprehensive)
[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] On the 29th, the Shincheonji Daegu Church announced that it will completely prohibit offline worship services and related gatherings to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Dadaeoh Branch, to which Shincheonji Daegu Church belongs, stated on the same day, "Since the 31st patient was confirmed on February 18, all worship services and gatherings have been switched to online for 40 days," adding, "This will be maintained until the COVID-19 situation stabilizes."
The church also urged its members, through behavioral guidelines issued to prevent the spread, to avoid personal meetings between members, to refrain from movement for two weeks even if fully recovered or released from quarantine, and to consult the local health center and actively cooperate with epidemiological investigations when using crowded facilities.
