Japan Records Highest Daily COVID-19 Cases... Total 2,434 Confirmed

According to the report, 208 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed in Japan in one day, including 63 cases in Tokyo alone.
This surpasses the previous day's 123 confirmed cases and is the highest number of daily confirmed cases since the spread of COVID-19 infections.
Among the 63 confirmed cases in Tokyo, nearly half were reported to have originated from a hospital in Daito-gu, according to Mainichi.
In Chiba Prefecture, 57 infections were confirmed at a welfare facility for the disabled the previous day, indicating signs of cluster infection spread in Japan as well.
