Two More Women Die from COVID-19... Total Deaths in Korea Reach 152
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Seung-gon] Two women in their 80s have died from the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to health authorities on the 28th, an 82-year-old woman who was receiving inpatient treatment at Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital died at 12:32 PM that day.
The woman, who was confirmed positive for COVID-19 at Daegu Jung-gu Public Health Center on the 25th of last month, had been hospitalized at this hospital since the 27th of last month and suffered from hypertension and hyperlipidemia.
Earlier that day, at 9:36 AM, an 84-year-old woman died while receiving inpatient treatment at Daegu Medical Center.
She was a patient at Daesil Nursing Hospital, where a cluster infection occurred, and after testing positive for COVID-19 during a full investigation at the hospital on the 20th, she was transferred to Daegu Medical Center.
