Nature Republic Appoints Jung Un-ho as New CEO
[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] Nature Republic held its regular shareholders' meeting on the 27th and announced the appointment of major shareholder Jeong Unho as the new CEO.
Nature Republic stated, "This appointment reflects the voices calling for active and bold responses to the crisis and market uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the wishes of employees and shareholders for responsible management."
They added, "CEO Jeong will fulfill his role as a creative director and restore normal management based on his judgment and strong sense of responsibility gained from extensive experience."
New CEO Jeong Unho said, "I deeply feel the responsibility as a major shareholder and aim to restore corporate trust and return to the original mindset to seek new opportunities. First, to respond to the COVID-19 crisis, we will activate an emergency management system and prepare for the re-advancement of K-Beauty through innovative product development to strengthen market competitiveness."
