Busan City Supports 950 Small Businesses with 500,000 KRW for Online Marketing Costs
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jonghyo] Busan City and the Busan Economic Promotion Agency announced on the 27th that they will recruit 950 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help them develop and expand sales channels through online marketing.
The eligible companies are small business owners with business locations in Busan who have spent more than 500,000 KRW on online marketing activities in 2020.
Upon submitting images and expenditure proof related to online marketing activities, companies will be reviewed and supported with 500,000 KRW each for online sales commissions, social franchise fees, social networking service (SNS) promotion costs, etc.
Applications will be accepted from the 16th to the 29th of next month, and support funds can be received within two months after application. Applications should be submitted to the Busan Economic Promotion Agency.

A Busan city official stated, "This will greatly help small business owners who are struggling due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) to expand the domestic market and develop sales channels," adding, "A total of 950 companies will be selected and supported with online marketing costs."
