View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in South Korea increased to 9,332 on the 27th.
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight on that day, the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 91 compared to the previous day.
The highest number of patients, 13, were identified during the quarantine process. Additional patients in the metropolitan area and Daegu-Gyeongbuk region were 26 and 43, respectively.
By region, Daegu had the highest number with 34 cases, followed by Seoul (12), Gyeonggi (11), Gyeongbuk (9), Incheon (3), Ulsan (2), Chungbuk (2), Busan (1), Gwangju (1), Daejeon (1), Gyeongnam (1), and Jeju (1).

The number of patients who were declared recovered and released from isolation increased by 384 from the previous day to 4,528. The death toll rose by 8 during the same period to 139.
