LG Electronics announced on the 27th that it has decided to suspend operations at its washing machine factory located in Clarksville, Tennessee, USA, from the 30th of this month until the 12th of next month. This is a preemptive measure by the company to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Tennessee production subsidiary in the United States is known to produce 100,000 drum and top-loading washing machines per month, employing approximately 600 people.
