Lotte.com Donates 1 Hand Sanitizer to Daegu for Every 3 Purchased
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte.com, operated by Lotte e-commerce, announced on the 27th that it is conducting a good consumption campaign to donate hand sanitizers in collaboration with Powerful X, which sells the hand sanitizer ‘Ssok’.
When customers purchase a set of three 500ml bottles of the hand sanitizer ‘Ssok’ on Lotte.com, one bottle of hand sanitizer is automatically donated to Daegu. Lotte.com is lowering the sales commission for this product and increasing advertising exposure to widely promote the good consumption campaign.
The hand sanitizer Ssok was initially launched as a portable product that allows easy hand sanitization. It was named ‘Ssok’ because the pouch-type product can be easily slipped into a pocket. Recently, due to the impact of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), customer response has continued, leading to the creation of a large-capacity 500ml pump-type product.
The donated hand sanitizers will be collected weekly and delivered to medical centers in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions as well as to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation. From three weeks after the purchase date, customers can check the list of donation recipients and participating donors on the Lotte.com event page.
