Financial Services Commission Holds 6th Remote Video Meeting of the Securities and Futures Commission
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] The Financial Services Commission announced on the 25th that it held the 6th Securities and Futures Commission meeting remotely via video conference, marking the first time a collegial (committee) central administrative agency has done so.
The FSC decided to replace face-to-face meetings with remote video conferences as part of the social distancing campaign in response to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), aiming to establish a contactless lifestyle.
The remote video conference was conducted by having commissioners and presenters connect to the internet On-Nara video conference system from their offices and homes.
