Ferrari Officially Launches 'Ferrari Roma' for the First Time in Asia
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Ferrari announced on the 25th that it will officially launch the 'Ferrari Roma' in Korea, unveiling it for the first time in the Asia region.
Reflecting the concept of ‘La Nuova Dolce Vita (The New Sweet Life),’ the Ferrari Roma is a model that modernly reinterprets the free-spirited lifestyle of Rome in the 1950s and 60s, from which its model name is also derived. It showcases timeless, sophisticated design infused with Italian sensibility, featuring harmonious body proportions and elegant balance inspired by Ferrari’s front-mid engine GT lineup.
The 620-horsepower engine equipped in the Ferrari Roma is based on the 8-cylinder turbo engine that has won the Engine of the Year award for four consecutive years. The bodyshell and chassis have been redesigned for vehicle lightweighting and advanced production technologies. The front-mid engine 2+2 seat Ferrari Roma boasts the best power-to-weight ratio in its class (2.37 kg/cv), further enhancing handling performance and responsiveness.
