[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] The city of Ansan in Gyeonggi Province announced that a 28-year-old woman, Ms. A, residing in Sadong, Sangnok-gu, who visited Switzerland and returned, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) on the 24th. Accordingly, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in the Ansan area has increased to seven.
Ms. A visited Switzerland and returned on the 16th. On the 23rd, she developed mild symptoms and visited the Sangnok-gu Public Health Center's screening clinic for testing, where she was confirmed positive on the same day.
