Dongyang Life Insurance, 'Guardian Angel Good Doll Making' Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Dongyang Life Insurance announced on the 24th that it conducted the 'Guardian Angel Good Doll Making' campaign for low-income multicultural family children in collaboration with the international relief and development NGO, the Hankorea Foundation.
The Guardian Angel Good Doll Making campaign is a participatory initiative where employees and planners directly make felt dolls of the Guardian Angel character to help provide emotional stability to children from multicultural families. This campaign has been conducted annually since 2016 in partnership with Hankorea.
About 200 dolls completed through this campaign will undergo inspection and sterilization processes before being delivered next month to children from multicultural families at an elementary school located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Additionally, to prevent the spread of the recently prevalent novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), hand sanitizers and wet wipes have been added to the Guardian Angel support kits, which previously consisted only of school supplies. Furthermore, cleaning toolboxes, desks, and chairs will be donated to help students study in a better environment.
