Superintendent Jang posted on social networking services (SNS) that “Along with Jang Hwi-guk, Superintendent of Education for Gwangju, I will join the return of 30% of salaries by government officials at the ministerial level and above, including the President.”
Superintendent Jang added, “To provide even a little support to the citizens of cities and provinces struggling due to COVID-19, I will donate 30% of my monthly salary for four months to the Community Chest of Korea.”
