40s Couple in Buyeo, Chungnam Confirmed with COVID-19... Regional Total Reaches 122
[Asia Economy (Naepo) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] A couple in their 40s in Buyeo, Chungnam, tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19). This couple is the first confirmed case in Buyeo. The total number of confirmed cases in the Chungnam region has increased to 122.
According to Chungnam Province on the 24th, the couple, A (48) and B (45, female), residing in Gyuyam-myeon, Buyeo-gun, tested positive for COVID-19 on the same day.
A showed symptoms of muscle pain and fever from the previous day, and B exhibited symptoms including fever, cough, sputum, and muscle pain. They both visited Konyang University Buyeo Hospital (screening clinic) for COVID-19 testing and were confirmed positive while in self-quarantine.
