KB Kookmin Card Launches Automatic Toll Payment Service for Namsan Tunnel Nos. 1 and 3
Real-time Congestion Toll Payment with Pre-registered Card After Automatic Vehicle Number Recognition
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] KB Kookmin Card announced on the 24th that it has launched the 'Seoul Congestion Toll Automatic Payment Service,' where the toll is automatically paid after vehicle number recognition in congestion toll collection zones.
This service automatically recognizes the vehicle number in real time and processes the toll payment when a customer's vehicle, registered with vehicle information and payment card in the congestion toll pre-registration system operated by Seoul City, enters the congestion toll collection zone. Currently, the service is available at Namsan Tunnel No. 1 and Tunnel No. 3, and additional zones will be added following amendments to Seoul City ordinances in the future.
Customers wishing to use the service can access the Seoul City Baro Green Payment website, agree to the toll payment, and then register their vehicle information and payment method. Payment cards can be registered as personal credit cards or personal check cards under the customer's name.
