Celebrities including actors and singers have also come forward to demand severe punishment.
Famous celebrities such as singer and actress Hyeri, actresses Ha Yeon-soo and Jung Ryeo-won, and EXO members Chanyeol and Baekhyun have also encouraged participation in the Blue House national petition calling for the disclosure of the identities of the n번bang perpetrators.
On the 11th, Ha Yeon-soo mentioned the n번bang incident in a post on her Instagram, saying, "This is not something I personally experienced. Even so, this is not something to overlook as if watching a fire from across the river."
She urged strict punishment, stating, "The mindset of the perpetrators in the n번bang is extremely dangerous and unethical. Not only raping minors but also humiliating acquaintances. They deserve severe punishment and condemnation."
On the 22nd, Hyeri posted a screenshot of a petition titled 'Please disclose the identities of the Telegram n번bang suspects and hold a photo line' and 'We want the identities of all n번bang members to be disclosed' on her Instagram. She added, "It is terrifying beyond anger," and "I sincerely hope strong punishment will be carried out."
On the same day, Jung Ryeo-won also posted a poster for the 'n번bang Punishment Demand Protest' on her Instagram story, encouraging participation in the petition. The poster included phrases such as 'Strengthen punishment for digital sex crimes on Telegram' and 'All of you who entered that room are murderers.'
Rapper Don Spike posted on his SNS on the 23rd, demanding the disclosure of all n번bang-related individuals' identities and strong punishment.
Don Spike said, "I strongly demand the severe punishment and disclosure of information of all Telegram n번bang-related individuals (including buyers)," and raised his voice, "As a human being, I do not want to live mixed with inhuman trash who do not uphold basic human decency, assault and threaten others, and profit from others' suffering without knowing who they are."
He continued, "It is a huge stress to suspect those around me, fearing that someone might be a participant," and emphasized, "Strong punishment and disclosure of information should serve as a powerful example so that such shameless incidents, which treat women and children as sexual playthings, will never be dreamed of again."
Baekhyun and Chanyeol also posted screenshots of national petitions titled 'Punish the perpetrator n번bang doctor and all members' on their SNS on the same day.
In addition, actors Son Soo-hyun, Moon Ga-young, Bong Tae-gyu, Son Dam-bi, singers Hwang So-yoon, Baek Yerin, Park Ji-min, Sojin, former MOMOLAND member Yeonwoo, model and actress Lee Young-jin, Jo Kwon, Eric Nam, VIXX's Ravi, and Swings also shared related petitions on their SNS, urging punishment for those involved in the n번bang.

Regarding this, Blue House spokesperson Kang Min-seok said at a briefing on the 23rd, "President Moon Jae-in expressed sincere condolences as the president to the female victims, including 16 children and adolescents, and empathized with the rightful anger of the people regarding the 'n번bang' incident."
President Moon said, "The acts of the perpetrators in the 'n번bang' incident were cruel acts that destroyed a human life," and "The fact that more than 3 million people signed the petition on the Blue House petition board in an instant is a heavy expression of the people's desperate call to eradicate such malignant digital sex crimes."
He added, "This case should be recognized as a serious crime, thoroughly investigated, and the perpetrators severely punished," and "The investigation should not be limited to the operators of the n번bang but should extend to all members."
He also said, "If necessary, I hope a special investigation team will be strongly established in addition to the Cyber Safety Division of the National Police Agency."
