Genie Music Strengthens B2C... Introduces 'OCR Technology'
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] Genie Music, a subsidiary of KT, is launching a new service based on Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology.
On the 24th, Genie Music announced that it has introduced OCR technology in the latest version (4.9) of its application to enhance convenience for new customers and strengthen B2C services. As a result, new customers can simply upload images of playlists they have been listening to on other platforms to the Genie application, and their existing playlists will be automatically generated, allowing them to enjoy Genie Music easily and conveniently.
