BaekjoThink, Launches 'Age Friendly ThinkBall'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon]Baekjo Sink announced on the 24th the launch of the functional brand for senior care, ‘AGE-Friendly’ sink bowls.
These sink bowls are designed with a depth up to 75% shallower than regular sink bowls to allow elderly people with physical difficulties or disabled individuals who use wheelchairs to use them conveniently. The increased space under the sink makes it possible to wash dishes while seated in a wheelchair. Even when washing dishes standing up, the shallower depth reduces the need to bend over, thereby lessening strain on the back and arms.
The flagship product, ‘AGF700,’ minimizes the chance of a wheelchair catching on the sink bowl by keeping the depth within 150mm and designing the bottom with a slant. Faucets can be optionally installed on either side of the sink bowl, and a ‘sensor faucet system’ that dispenses water upon touch is also integrated to enhance user convenience.
In addition, the lineup includes four models: the sleek square sink bowl design ‘AGF780,’ the shallow 140mm depth models ‘AGF835’ and ‘AGF430,’ allowing diverse choices according to kitchen style and size.
