Walking Naked in Downtown and Damaging Vehicles... Emergency Hospitalization Taken
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] A man in his 30s who walked naked on the road and damaged vehicles was arrested by the police.
On the 23rd, the Ulsan Southern Police Station announced that Mr. A was booked without detention on charges including public obscenity and is under investigation.
According to the police, Mr. A allegedly walked naked on a road near the Nongsusanmul Wholesale Market in Samsan-dong, Nam-gu, Ulsan City, around 11:30 a.m. the previous day. He blocked passing vehicles, struck the front windshield with his fist, climbed onto the roof, and repeatedly jumped, causing damage.
The police, who responded to the report, apprehended Mr. A at the scene.
The police believe Mr. A has mental health issues and admitted him to a hospital for emergency treatment. They plan to investigate the detailed circumstances of the incident once Mr. A recovers.
