The Busan District Prosecutors' Office announced on the 23rd that they arrested and indicted A (18) on fraud charges and indicted B (18) without detention on charges of aiding fraud.
A is accused of posting a false advertisement on Instagram on the 11th of last month claiming to export masks, then deceiving a Hong Kong national victim who contacted him via KakaoTalk chat by saying, "I will sell 50,000 masks at 1,430 won per mask including tax," and receiving a payment of 72.4 million won (470,000 Hong Kong dollars) while keeping the money.
B is accused of lending his bank account and handing over his check card so that A could withdraw the money.
