[Official] 'Sanyang-ui Sigan' Confirmed for Netflix Release on April 10
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] The film "Time to Hunt," whose release was indefinitely postponed due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), will be released on the global OTT platform Netflix.
"Time to Hunt" is a chase thriller directed by Yoon Sung-hyun, who won the Best New Director Award at the 32nd Blue Dragon Film Awards, starring the rising stars of Chungmuro Lee Je-hoon, Ahn Jae-hong, Choi Woo-shik, Park Jung-min, and Park Hae-soo. The film depicts four friends planning a dangerous operation for a new life and a mysterious pursuer chasing them, capturing their breath-taking time of hunting.
Little Big Pictures, which handled the distribution and investment of "Time to Hunt," stated, "After a long wait, we are pleased to announce that 'Time to Hunt' will be simultaneously released in 190 countries worldwide through Netflix." They added, "Given the ongoing risks of COVID-19 and the continued global spread, we made this decision with the expectation that it is the most effective way to introduce our work to a larger audience."
Netflix also said, "'Time to Hunt' will be available to members in over 190 countries worldwide, and we are delighted about this. We view the growing global interest in Korean films positively," adding, "We firmly believe that Korean content across various formats and genres, including dramas and movies, will receive love from fans worldwide."
