'Happy Together' Seo Isuk says to IU, "Jieun has a different level of skill"
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Actress Seo Yi-sook recalled her memories of filming with IU (Lee Ji-eun) and praised her acting skills.
On the 19th, the KBS2 variety show 'Happy Together 4' aired a special episode titled 'My Acting Class,' featuring actors Seo Yi-sook, Cha Chung-hwa, Heo Sung-tae, and Ha Do-kwon, who showcased their wit and charm.
In particular, when Yoo Jae-suk asked, "Is there an actor you have been paying attention to recently?" Seo Yi-sook answered IU, explaining that she is an actress who impressed her greatly.
The two previously appeared in the tvN drama 'Hotel Del Luna,' portraying Jang Man-wol (played by Lee Ji-eun), the chairwoman of Del Luna, and Mago-shin (played by Seo Yi-sook), respectively, delivering performances that added tension to the storyline.
She said of IU, "IU acts really well. She is an actress who possesses both emotion and reason. I felt a unique depth when she delivered her lines." She also added, "She is an actress I was happy to act with."
Meanwhile, Seo Yi-sook revealed on the show that she majored in acting in the traditional Korean music department and mentioned that she is also an acting mentor to Song Ga-in, which became a hot topic.
