[Photo] Hanssem Donates 100 Boxes of Daily Necessities Support Kits to Mapo-gu for Overcoming COVID-19
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] On the 20th, Mapo-gu (Mayor Yudonggyun) announced that it received 100 boxes of daily necessities support kits (worth 8 million KRW) from Hanssem (CEO Kang Seungsu), a leading local company, to help overcome COVID-19.
The daily necessities support kits consist of a 3-piece pot set, tumbler, baby food containers, masks, and other items that can be usefully utilized by single mothers and low-income single-parent households.
The donation ceremony was attended by Yudonggyun, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Hanssem President An Heungguk, and four other executives.
The district plans to distribute the donated daily necessities support kits to single mother facilities in Mapo-gu such as Mapo Aeranwon, Areumtteul, Mapo Clover, Aeran Youngsville, as well as to single mothers and low-income single-parent households in the area.

Meanwhile, since October 2017, Hanssem has been carrying out residential environment improvement projects worth about 18 million KRW, including furniture support for 18 low-income households in Mapo-gu, and since 2018, it has been continuously engaging in social contribution activities such as holding annual concerts for culturally marginalized groups.
