Gwangyang-si Recruiting Companies and Youth for 'Blue Economy Youth Intern Support Project' Participation
3-Month Youth Intern Salary, 4 Major Insurance Contributions Support, Regular Employee Conversion Celebration Bonus Payment
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gwangyang City, Jeonnam Province, announced on the 20th that it is recruiting ‘participating companies and youth interns’ for the ‘Jeonnam-type Blue Economy Company Youth Intern Support Project’ in collaboration with Jeonnam Province.
The Blue Economy Company Youth Intern Support Project is a project selected by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, which selects small and medium-sized enterprises with high growth potential related to the six major sectors of Jeonnam Blue Economy (Blue Energy, Blue Tour, Blue Bio, Blue Transport, Blue Agriculture and Fisheries, Blue City) and supports the employment of youth interns.
The city plans to support the employment of companies with fewer than 300 employees located in Gwangyang City and unemployed youth aged 18 to 39 residing in Gwangyang City.
Selected companies will receive support for the youth interns’ 3-month wages and four major insurance fees, and a congratulatory payment of 300,000 won will be given to youth interns upon conversion to regular employment after the internship ends.
The application period is until the 3rd of next month for participating companies and until the 14th of next month for youth interns.
