Gwangju National University of Education Faculty and Students Donate Funds to Overcome COVID-19
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Faculty and students of Gwangju National University of Education, Gwangju National University of Education Gwangju Affiliated Elementary School, and Gwangju National University of Education Mokpo Affiliated Elementary School participated in the COVID-19 donation campaign.
The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Han Sangwon) announced on the 19th that Gwangju National University of Education (President Choi Doseong) donated 10,373,550 KRW to overcome COVID-19.
Attending the donation ceremony were Choi Doseong, President of Gwangju National University of Education; Heo Seungjun, Director of Planning; Kang Hyoyoung, Director of Academic Affairs; Choi Youngsoon, Principal of Gwangju Affiliated Elementary School; Shin Seung, Principal of Mokpo Affiliated Elementary School; and Lee Seongdo, Secretary General of the Gwangju Community Chest of Korea.
President Choi said, “To overcome the COVID-19 crisis together, faculty and students of Gwangju National University of Education and the affiliated elementary schools in Gwangju and Mokpo participated in the fundraising with small contributions from many people. It is especially meaningful that future teachers and our children participated together to support each other through sharing during difficult times.”
