Gwangju Seo-gu Holds Job Committee 'Integrated Meeting by Subcommittees'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Seo Daeseok) announced on the 19th that it held an integrated meeting of the Job Committee's 'Subcommittee Working Group' on the 18th to gather opinions and discover job policies in accordance with the 2020 Local Job Target Disclosure System.
The 'Local Job Target Disclosure System' is a regional employment activation policy that establishes specific goals and strategic implementation plans tailored to local characteristics for job creation and announces the annual performance results.
To promote the project, Seo-gu selected five core strategies: ▲ Establishment of job infrastructure ▲ Creation of youth jobs through Cheongchun Balsan ▲ Creation of customized jobs by social class ▲ Creation of public and private sector jobs ▲ Improvement of job quality.
Through these core strategies, Seo-gu plans to create 8,204 jobs, discovering various jobs amid difficult local economic conditions and revitalizing the community so that citizens can feel the impact.
A Seo-gu official stated, “We will continue to prioritize job creation as the top task and continuously discover and implement various policies that can create more quality jobs.”
