View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in South Korea increased by 152 on the 19th, bringing the total to 8,565.
The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight on that day, the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 152 compared to the previous day. Additional patients in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, and the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions were 30 and 109, respectively.
By region, Daegu had the highest number with 97 cases, followed by Gyeonggi (18), Seoul (12), Gyeongbuk (12), Ulsan (6), Chungbuk (1), and Jeonbuk (1). Five cases were also confirmed during quarantine.
