[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 19th that one of the visitors to the Songhyeon-dong branch located in Dalseo-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City, was confirmed to have COVID-19, prompting an emergency disinfection of the branch and notification of related information to customers via text messages.
KB Kookmin Bank plans to temporarily close the Songhyeon-dong branch and resume operations on the 26th, while operating the Bonri-dong Comprehensive Financial Center as an alternative branch to minimize customer inconvenience.
All employees suspected of exposure will be placed under a 14-day self-quarantine in accordance with government health authority guidelines.
