BC Card "Use 'Paybook QR Payment' at Starbucks"

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] BC Card announced on the 19th that it has applied the Paybook QR payment service to over 1,300 Starbucks stores nationwide (excluding some locations such as airports, department stores, and large shopping malls).
The usage method is simple. First, select the card you want to pay with in the Paybook app and generate a QR code. Then, scan the QR code at the reader located at the checkout counter to complete the payment.

In October 2018, BC Card was the first in the industry to launch a credit card-based QR code payment service applying the international payment standard (EMV). The feature is that you can receive the benefits of your existing credit or debit card using only a smartphone.
