BGF Retail Expands 2020 New Graduate and Open Recruitment
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] BGF Retail recently announced on the 19th that despite the adverse effects of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), it will proceed with the new employee recruitment as usual and also expand its internship program and occasional recruitment of experienced employees.
BGF Retail will conduct new employee recruitment in two phases, first and second half of the year. The recruitment-linked internship, first implemented last year, will be further expanded mainly for sales management positions, and occasional recruitment of experienced employees will be more actively promoted to build a continuous talent pool.
The first half new employee recruitment will take place on the 23rd. Applications will be accepted through the BGF Retail website until the 6th of next month for graduates of four-year universities, those expected to graduate by August 2020, and discharged (or soon-to-be discharged) officers.
The recruitment positions for the first half include five categories: ▲Sales Management ▲Strategic Planning ▲Finance Support ▲Product Operations ▲Specialized Positions. The selection process will proceed in the order of document screening, aptitude test, first interview, second interview, field training, and final employment.
This year, due to COVID-19, offline recruitment briefings such as campus recruiting will be omitted. Instead, video content will be produced to deliver recruitment information online through CU’s official social network services (SNS). Recruitment officers will appear directly to introduce the recruitment process and various job roles in detail, and the FAQ related to recruitment will be further enhanced.
Additionally, a non-face-to-face aptitude test will be conducted through AI (artificial intelligence) interviews. The AI aptitude test can be taken online at the applicant’s preferred time and place during the selection period using a PC or laptop equipped with a webcam.
