Former Stylenanda CEO Sohee Kim Buys Myeongdong Building for 24.5 Billion Won in Cash
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Kim So-hee, former CEO of the women's fashion and beauty shopping mall 'Stylenanda,' is reported to have purchased a building worth several hundred billion won in cash earlier this year in Myeongdong, Seoul.
According to brokerage industry sources on the 18th, Kim purchased a building in Chungmuro 1-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul, for 24.5 billion won in January.
The building is located in the prime commercial area near Myeongdong Station on Subway Line 4. Nearby is the Nature Republic Myeongdong branch, ranked first nationwide in official land price, along with many shops targeting foreign tourists, making it a key area.
The building has a land area of 84.9㎡ (total floor area 208.26㎡) and consists of three above-ground floors. The sale price per 3.3㎡ (based on land area) is 954.04 million won.

It was confirmed that Kim purchased the building entirely in cash without using any loans from financial institutions. In May of last year, she also bought a traditional Hanok house in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, for 9.668 billion won in full cash under her name without any loans.
