COVID-19 Document Verification Difficulties Online... Sojinkong and National Tax Service Business Agreement
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Small Enterprise and Market Service (SEMAS) has signed a 'Business Agreement for the Sustainable Growth of Small Businesses and Traditional Markets' with the National Tax Service (NTS) to support overcoming the damages caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to SEMAS on the 19th, the agreement ceremony was held in the afternoon at the headquarters located in Daeheung-dong, Daejeon, to devise measures to overcome the management crisis of small businesses and traditional markets.
Through this agreement, small business owners who face difficulties in submitting documents when applying for COVID-19 policy funds can verify about 10 types of administrative information online, including business registration certificates and value-added tax taxable standard certificates, held by the National Tax Service.
SEMAS aims to enhance the convenience of using administrative information, conduct investigations and research through data sharing between institutions, cooperate in promoting government tax support and assistance policies, and foster community development through strengthened exchanges among local organizations.
The two institutions will cooperate to strengthen the growth capabilities of small businesses and traditional markets, assist in stabilizing small business management through policy research and support utilizing mutually held data, and prepare programs such as mutual participation in entrepreneurship education and tax-related education for small business startups and recovery. The exchange of instructors will also be conducted flexibly.
