'Kkwaegeol Chunhyang' Moon Ji-yoon dies of acute sepsis at age 36
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] Actor Moon Ji-yoon has passed away due to acute sepsis. He was 36 years old.
According to multiple media outlets on the 19th, Moon Ji-yoon died from acute sepsis at 8:56 PM on the 18th. His agency, Family ENT, stated that Moon Ji-yoon was recently hospitalized for pharyngitis symptoms and received treatment, but was later transferred to the intensive care unit due to acute sepsis and ultimately did not recover.
The agency said, "The bereaved family is concerned about the safety of visitors due to fears of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19)," and added, "We ask for condolences for the deceased and respectfully decline floral tributes."
The funeral hall has been set up in Room 3 of the funeral home at Inje University Sanggye Paik Hospital, and the funeral procession is scheduled for the 20th.
