Geumcheon-gu Volunteer Center Conducts 'Good Mask Campaign'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseonghun) conducted the ‘Kind Mask’ campaign to overcome COVID-19 at 6 p.m. on the 18th in front of Geumcheon-gu Office Station.
On this day, Geumcheon-gu Mayor Yuseonghun and volunteers from the Geumcheon-gu Volunteer Center participated together.
The ‘Kind Mask’ campaign is a movement to prioritize the use of scarce health masks by vulnerable groups such as medical institutions, health-vulnerable groups, and workers who interact with many customers.
Participants donated their own health masks such as KF80 and KF94, and the campaign was conducted in a 1:1 exchange format where they received cloth masks and portable hand sanitizers.
The health masks donated by residents will be delivered to medical staff, health-vulnerable groups, and infection-vulnerable occupations that require contact with many people.
Starting in front of Geumcheon-gu Office Station on this day, the campaign plans to continue at 2 p.m. on the 23rd at Gasan Digital Complex Station (Line 1), 2 p.m. on the 25th at Doksan Station, and 12 p.m. on the 30th in the lobby of Geumcheon-gu Office.
