Gyeonggi Doshi Gong Partners with Influencers to Strengthen Housing and Job Foundations
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation is joining hands with internet influencers such as power bloggers to strengthen the housing and job infrastructure capabilities in Gyeonggi Province.
Influencers refer to users with at least hundreds of thousands of followers or subscribers on social networking services (SNS) such as Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter, or power bloggers who operate highly influential blogs on portal sites.
On the 18th, Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation announced that it signed an agreement with the Influencer Economy Industry Association, a corporation established last year, to collaborate on strengthening housing and job infrastructure capabilities for creating better cities.
The Influencer Economy Industry Association works to protect the rights and interests of influencers and promote industrial growth.
According to the agreement, Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation will leverage the influence and brand power of influencers on new media channels to ▲ enhance digital capabilities related to the corporation’s major projects ▲ promote public relations and external communication capacity-building projects linked with influencers ▲ develop digital cooperation plans for Gyeonggi Province’s housing policies and job infrastructure creation ▲ and pursue mutual cooperation for the expansion of the influencer industry.
Lee Heon-wook, president of Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation, stated, "Collaboration with influencers, who have significant impact across corporate marketing, distribution, and media, is expected to greatly contribute to the housing and job infrastructure development that the corporation pursues."
