Gwangju Dong-gu Produces and Distributes Indoor Disinfection Guidelines for COVID-19 Prevention
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Im Taek) announced on the 18th that it has produced and distributed a guide on making easy disinfectants and indoor disinfection methods to prevent community infection due to the spread of COVID-19.
The guide explains in detail how to easily make disinfectants at home using sodium hypochlorite (commonly known as household bleach) when professional disinfectants are not available.
Additionally, the back of the guide includes the recently revised edition of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency’s ‘COVID-19 Prevention Action Guidelines.’
A total of 5,000 copies of this guide will be produced and distributed mainly to vulnerable groups in the district, apartment complexes, facilities with high-risk COVID-19 workers, multi-use facilities, and welfare facilities.
Furthermore, the disinfection methods included in the guide will also be posted on the Dong-gu website, the Dong-gu mobile app ‘Dudream,’ and social media channels.
