69 Daegu Nursing Hospital Patients and Staff Confirmed Positive... "Revealed in Full Nursing Hospital Survey" (Comprehensive)
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Dong-hoon] It has been confirmed that 69 people, including patients and staff, were collectively infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) at Hansarang Nursing Hospital in Seo-gu, Daegu.
According to Daegu City on the 18th, the quarantine authorities identified additional confirmed cases at the nursing hospital from late afternoon the previous day and implemented cohort isolation measures. Among the confirmed cases in the nursing hospital, 52 are patients and 17 are staff, totaling 69 people.
Daegu City confirmed this cluster infection during a comprehensive survey of nursing hospitals and social welfare facilities. The full survey of approximately 390 nursing hospitals and social welfare facilities is currently about one-third complete.
