He is the 55th death in Daegu and the 84th death in South Korea.
According to health authorities on the 17th, an 86-year-old man who was hospitalized at Keimyung University Daegu Dongsan Hospital passed away at around 3:15 PM that day.
The deceased was confirmed positive for COVID-19 at the screening clinic of Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital on the 26th of last month due to fever and was admitted to Daegu Dongsan Hospital on the 3rd.
